Supplementary Admission into School of Foundation Studies – 2018/2019

The supplementary admission for Diploma in UNILAG is about to close. Closes on 28th September 2018 i.e this week Friday and the Exam is on 29th of September 2018. So hurry up and register so that you don’t have to wait another year just cause you didn’t know. If you did the Post-Utme and it didn’t turn out well for you , this is another chance. It has an even better result than Post-Utme cause you’ll be able to use the result in some other Universities apart from UNILAG. Plus some international Universities also collect the result. The only down side is that it is more expensive and it is not a residential program so they don’t provide hostels for you.

A minimum of FIVE credits (English Language, Mathematics and three relevant subjects) obtained in one sitting at the SSCE/WASSC, GCE/O/L, NECO with results obtained before registration.

You will be thought three subjects according to the subject combination for your course as listed above. Then you will wright and examination conducted by Jamb called JUPEB. The total number of points in the program is 15 points.

  • “A” = 5 points
  • “B” = 4 points
  • “C” = 3 points
  • “D” = 2 points
  • “E” = 1 point
  • “F” = 0 points

If you have “A” you are given +1 Wich brings the total to 16 points. Then Cut-off Marks would be released for your courses(differentd Universities have different cut-off marks). Once you pass yours, all that is left is for you to apply for Direct Entry (enter into the University from 200 level) into the University. And voila (French for “here it is”) you are back with the people you did Post-Utme with in Year 2. This is just a short summary of the whole process. It was through Diploma that I gained admission to UNILAG so I have a lot of experience in this area. This is a very great opportunity so don’t miss it.
